Over the course of the past several weeks, I’ve been co-hosting a podcast with Mitchell Levy at Thought Leader Life, focusing on the challenges and best practices for today’s channel marketers. We brought together channel experts on the front line of sales, marketing and strategy to talk about their insights and experiences.

Session 3: Mike McDermott, SVP Sales at Primitive Logic

Session 4: Carol Meyers, CMO at Rapid7

Carol Meyers? is a highly accomplished marketing executive with a track record of success at technology companies including Lotus, Shiva, Unica and LogMeIn. Carol is now CMO at Rapid7, a provider of IT security solutions focused on security? data, analytics and intelligence. Carol brings a wealth of insights from all angles of channel management, including branding, lead generation, sales support and partner management. We discuss channel challenges from the Supplier perspective, including best practices for partner enablement, channel account management, and critical success factors for selecting and accelerating effective partners.

  1. I want to shout out a huge thank you to Mitchell Levy and his team at Think Aha. We were looking to do something different with content, and Mitchell really delivered. These videos were easy on us to produce, and Mitchell’s team converted them into a lot of reusable content. They were recorded on Google Hangout, and Mitchell’s team turned them into YouTube videos, as well as audio podcasts that will be available on iTunes, and then they distilled a series of more than 100 text bites that will be comprised into a short eBook and will fuel our promotion of the videos on Twitter.
